Project 3: Designing with Architectural Principles, Materiality, Context, User

We had to investigate and incorporate the design concept and building technique from the previous assignment into a more challenging programme. You must specify a proposal for a tiny freestanding structure in relation to the surrounding natural environment. In architectural design, emphasis is placed on the interpretation and synthesis of the user, site, and purpose. The design of this building must show how you have applied architectural goals and principles, as well as materiality, constructability, and context, to produce a user-memorable spatial experience.

Reflection

Projects 1 and 2 from the entire semester's worth of material were combined into this assignment. I enjoyed explaining my concept and my desire to create something for a special someone. There were difficult occasions, such as when considering the form and design principles. choose between rigid and flowing forms. determining the user's optimal views and the overall spatial characteristics for each user.

This task went through a number of steps, from workshop submissions to producing a model in three days for tutorial critiques. The responses I received was all worthwhile, and I will remember this lesson for the rest of my life. to love and respect nature as a friend. acquiring better knowledge of how to mix the context, user, and structure as 1. I'm excited for the next studio and I hope it will be as good throughout.
